Attempted Murder Fails when Gun Jams
A man who was captured on CCTV shooting a medical student after he intervened to stop an apparent kidnapping has been identified by police. Euric Cain, 21, of New Orleans, is wanted on charges of armed robbery, second-degree kidnapping and attempted first-degree murder. Surveillance footage showed a man dragging a woman down a street towards an SUV and Peter Gold pulling up and trying to help her. Police said the man demanded money and then shot Mr Gold, 25, in the stomach when he said he did not have any. |

Conor, I saw a report earlier that he had died and then just saw another story saying he was recovering. Hope he makes it but tragic none the less.
