Arkansas State Police Trooper Disables Fleeing Truck's Tires
An Arkansas State Police trooper shot out a fleeing tractor-trailer's front tires during a pursuit near Hope, Arkansas, on Oct. 12, 2026. The pursuit began in Little Rock when the truck fled from police. Highway Police later tried to stop it on Interstate 30. The driver tried to ram an officer and struck a Highway Police vehicle while exiting into Hope. The truck also collided with a State Police vehicle. After it returned to I-30 eastbound, a trooper fired at both front tires, deflating them. Troopers also deployed spike strips. The driver continued at about 70 mph before troopers forced the truck to stop. The 29-year-old driver was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault, fleeing, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Bond was $150,000. No injuries were reported.

I noticed that too, and you know, that kinda goes for Troopers overall, from everywhere.

That was a really short cop. The official Hempstead County roster shows that Victor Joel Colon, 29, of Punta Gorda, Florida, was booked at 12:07 p.m. it lists 3 aggravated-assault entries, fleeing, reckless driving and leaving an accident scene. https://www.hempsteadcountysheriff.o...g_num=20260796 |
