While the teenager complained in the chat that his father kept moving, his father desperately fought for his life and miraculously survived the severe stabbing. He managed to escape and was taken to the Hospital. Following the attack, the civil police arrested the minor and launched a wider forensic investigation into the group chat to track down the members who actively encouraged and assisted the crime online. The son, because of his age, was charged under the juvenile justice system with an infraction equivalent to attempted murder. He was placed in a juvenile detention center. The cybercrime division tracked down the group admins and participants. The users providing active encouragement faced federal criminal investigations for inciting violence and complicity in attempted murder. |
