2 Criminals Try to Carjack a Car Full of Cops
Brazil- A shooting scared residents and people who passed through the Montese neighborhood, in Fortaleza, on the afternoon of last Tuesday (23). Two suspects (a man and a teenager) tried to rob civil police officers, who reacted. There was an exchange of shots, and the duo ended up captured. The Civil Police of Ceará (PC-CE) confirmed, in a statement, that it "captured an adult and a teenager suspected of attempted robbery against three civil police officers". "At the time, two inspectors and a clerk were on duty in an uncharacterized car when they were approached by three people who were in a cloned vehicle. The teenager shot the police, starting an exchange of gunfire and was injured," described the Organ. A man identified as F.W.A.S., 33, was arrested in the act and fined for the crimes of attempted robbery, corruption of minors and reception. He already had passages through the police for the crimes of vehicle theft, drug trafficking and reception. A 17-year-old teenager, who was shot in the exchange of gunfire, was apprehended and taken to a health unit, under police escort. Against him, an infraction analogous to the crime of attempted robbery will be drawn up. He was already responding to infractions for drug trafficking. With the pair, two armed revolvers, a cloned vehicle and a mobile device were seized. "The case is investigated by the 11ª Police Station of the Department of Homicide and Protection of the Person (DHPP), a unit of the Civil Police responsible for investigating crimes against security agents.
