Re: Shaved Cat Growls at Man in Mask
There's physical abuse and there's psychological abuse. Kicking the cat hurts it physically. Scaring the cat hurts it psychologically. It causes stress and behavioral problems. No, it's not "Something so harmless". Your pets should trust you completely. The cat did not think it was a badass at the end. It's body language showed fear through the whole video. Trying to look big and scary as to scare off the "monster" does not mean it wasn't terrified. |

You don't know our poodle. I could just as easily argue that dogs and cats have very honed senses of humor and understanding. As an animal lover I have had many jokes and tricks played on me by my pets, with laughter of my dog or cat alongside. They're smarter than you think, they've got you trained to do everything for them. ;)

Re: Shaved Cat Growls at Man in Mask
never said animals are dumb. i know they are smart. i own a lot of dogs, a cat, a few pairs of bunnies and hamsters plus some birds. im just saying what we thought as funny things we do to them might scare them actually. of course if you keep doing those on a daily basis, they might go easier after everytime. most animals are creatures of habit and routine.
