Well, now that's weird, lol: watched it many times, he actually looks to appear from nowhere. Found some info, not sure they're accurate, but maybe someone will find the same scene taken from a different angle. The only MUNDANE explanation would be some trick of perspective + fast moving speed on ice + camera movement: at 05:00 you can see some referee in the background, ![]() maybe he made some turn and passed in front of camera while he was hidden by some players, like in this frame, for example. ![]() But that's just some possible explanation. Another video taken from a different angle would clarify it for sure imho. Anyway, funny and puzzling: thanks ! |

You get a glimpse of the ref just before 4 seconds (left of number 88 Kane) and another glimpse just before 6 seconds (behind the other ref.) I don't think it was the ref at 5 seconds on the right.
