Patient Falls from ICU Ceiling in Escape Attempt in Hospital
Brazil. At the Adão Pereira Nunes Hospital in Caxias, a man, who is is a drug user and was hospitalized in a ward for Covid patients, tried to escape through a ventilation duct but plummeted through the ceiling of the ICU unit.  He asked to go to the bathroom, opened the air conditioning duct and tried to get out. According to the unit, he was having a psychotic episode and was taken back to his original ward. The man remains hospitalized in stable condition. |
