I had one of these show up in my house, they are lightning quick and very aggressive. It climbed up on the ceiling after I tried to shoo it out the door, then chased me around the house from the ceiling, I had to defend myself and kill it with a broom. The spider was almost twice the size of the one in the video. After killing it I was so pumped with adrenalin I couldn't hold a cup of water.

They are way too big for a fricking broom to chase them away. Found one in my house once….the cat alerted me to it because she was sitting in a frozen position, just staring at it. Yeah I noticed the cat before the spider. I almost had a heart attack when I saw what she was looking at on the wall. The hair on my neck stood on end! There was no way it could be picked up and put outside, which is what I usually do, so I felt I had no choice but to kill it. It took a whole can of some spray I found under the sink…coulda been anything from furniture polish to window cleaner…didn't look at the can at the time, just kept my eye on jumbo spider, then I sprayed this stuff all over it. It just didn't move. Eventually after I had used the whole can it fell on the floor upside down, legs curled up. I felt really mean then for killing it. But what else could I have done. It was flipping enormous.!!!!   |

I had a wolf spider in my living room once, it was hiding in my dad's jacket, he went to put it on and he noticed it... Opened it out to see it was the size of my hand, which in the UK was rare as fuck... My dad had to get a JUG to pick up the fucking pest.
