 Word of advice: Lose their phone numbers. Delete from all phones. Delete email address from all your lists. Never answer a call or email from them. Don't even open an email from either of them so you won't be baited to get back in touch with them. These types are very clever and will quickly figure out that you are on to them. They will try all sorts of techniques to get you back and when that fails they will go on a social rampage. They will contact your friends and family and use all sorts of tricks to "punish" you for turning your back on them. Rumors of unfaithfulness, perversion, sexual impotence, wanting too much sex, abuse, insanity, blah blah blah it goes on and on until they get tired of it and move on. The faster you can get them to move on the better. Just stay low and ignore them and Never Never Never respond or rise to the bait. Don't think you can win by pumping propaganda back into your circle of friends and associates or even family members. Just DON'T do it. It's not worth it. The more you say the more ideas they get and gradually they will begin to win the battle just by keeping you in the mud. The very best thing you can do with these psychotic monsters once you have figured out that's what they are is just walk away. Run away or what ever you must do to stay clear. They WILL give up after it becomes a waste of time for them. Be sure to make it a waste of time by carefully ignoring them and when one of your friends or family comes bearing news and passing on information just smile politely and make some inane comment like , "well, nice to hear she's ok and doing better". "Sorry she feels that way". "It's all for the best, now isn't it?" And poof. One day you will realize you haven't heard a thing in God knows how long and it doesn't bother you in the least.  |
