Re: Classic Mercedes 380 SL Hit a Ferrari 458 Speciale
A good friend of my family had a Mint 1970 Ford Ranchero with less than 10k miles since the factory floor. His grandfather bought the car off the lot and passed away a short time later. His dad put the car in a storage unit to preserve the memory of his dad(the grandfather). It sat there for 40 years till the dad passed away and my friend inherited it. He had it delivered to his house and unloaded onto his front lawn. It never even had a rock chip. The next day the neighbor kid was arguing with his girlfriend accidentally mashed the gas in his $300 1991 Chevy corsica, out of the driveway, across the road over the curb and plowed into the side of the car It might seem trivial, and the car was fixed, but it's no longer mint and no longer all original and everytime he looks at it, he remembers. Depressing story huh |

nostalgia is a different thing altogether. ill burn an offender's luxury car if it breaks the 180 year old cheap clay sculpture our great great granddaddy made. it currently sits in our ancestral home's lawn rock garden.
