Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server
No, its not. It's completely true. Diseases that promote weight gain are exceedingly rare. Name us some common, untreatable conditions that cause obesity. Don't include diseases caused by a bad lifestyle like type 2 diabetes or lack of exercise, which are easily treatable by the way. It is well known in the medical world that diseases that promote wait gain are exceeding rare and the most common thyroid condition can be treated for about $4.00 a month. People that live in poor countries and have little to eat have no obesity problems because the number one cause of obesity is too many calories coming in as apposed to how much you burn. I also have to watch my weight and count my calories too, all i'm trying to do is point out the facts. I hate it when i see people eat 2-3k calorie lunchs and then tell me they have a "condition" that causes them to gain weight no matter how hard they diet and work out. I need to add by the way, that the person who wrote the note was very rude to the waitress and it was uncalled for. what I've posted is easily verifiable, I researched it pretty hard looking for a loophole in my diet plan, i just wasn't losing weight and i was sure i had some kind of condition that kept me from losing it Once i finally accepted the truth and realized it was all on me to make it happen. I started having success. Look into it, it's worth your time |

Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server
Um, I have looked into it. I have severe hypoglycemia which causes me to gain weight, about 10 pounds a year. I eat healthy and exercise regularly, but I continue to have unnecessary weight and weight gain, and I know many others with this condition. You can say all you want to, but until you've lived it, you really can't say shit and make those who know believe you. |

Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server
However, gaining 200 pounds is not something that could happen with this disease. Mine was hereditary, and the doctors and common sense will tell you that a person with a short to average height that weighs 200 pounds or over is their own fault. Those people are obviously doing something wrong, so I agree with you there.

Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server
Maybe this article among others can offer a little more insight. http://www.healthywomen.org/content/...ask-the-expert The type I have is more severe due to several blood and heart diseases running in my family, and I regulate it with my diet. (i.e. LOTS of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, no sugar, and some healthy things with lots of carbs like cheese when I feel I'm about to faint. Unfortunately for me and many others who share my case, there are those who try to tell us we need to eat healthier and exercise, when they know nothing about our lifestyles. Then again, I could just be off by a few components on my diet and it could all go away. What a fucking waste that would be, but I honestly don't know what else I could do. |
