Another Rotten Tip to Server
As a reminder, the, "tip", section of a restaurant receipt is not an area where customers should feel free to pen advice to their server. Despite 99 percent of us knowing this, Redditor yipskip posted a pic of a receipt a friend of his, whom he describes as "overweight," received while working a shift at Applebee's. The note reads, "Stop eating bitch!" The dollar amount is left at zero, but the word "tip" is circled, seeming to suggest the customer is imparting some (jerk) wisdom. One theory on Reddit is that the customer's advances may have been shot down. It was also pointed out that these are harsh words coming from a single diner spending 30 bucks at Applebee's. *How stupid are people? The card can be traced. Maybe the server had medical issues. I'm sure he or she is aware of their size without some unappreciative idiot not springing for a tip after eating $30 worth of food alone! |
