Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server

Maybe this article among others can offer a little more insight.
http://www.healthywomen.org/content/...ask-the-expert

The type I have is more severe due to several blood and heart diseases running in my family, and I regulate it with my diet. (i.e. LOTS of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, no sugar, and some healthy things with lots of carbs like cheese when I feel I'm about to faint. Unfortunately for me and many others who share my case, there are those who try to tell us we need to eat healthier and exercise, when they know nothing about our lifestyles. I can understand that a lot of people think weight gain can be helped, but the short and short of it is for me, with my own personal experience, is not the case. Since I was about fourteen I started gaining 10 pounds a year, going from a 120 pound 5'3 stature to 180 pounds so far. If you just push slightly beneath the layer of fat on my midsection, you can feel steely muscle. Whether this is the same for others, I can't say. The only thing to do is take my meds and keep my diet clean and exercise. While I'll agree with you on most parts, I have to disagree with you on the weight gain, Zambini.

Then again, I could just be off by a few components on my diet and it could all go away. What a fucking waste that would be, but I honestly don't know what else I could do.
I'm sorry you have this condition, I have a friend with the same.

As the article states, it's the calories you eat that are causing the weight gain.

Re: Another Rotten Tip to Server

You cannot gain fat weight unless you consume more calories than you burn.

Gaining weight is not a symptom of hypoglycemia, quite the opposite

Perhaps you mean hyperglycemia?
By the way, the only reason I gave you a "fuck off" is because you did it to me. Clever of you to put it in the edit box, though.

The doctors that help me watch over my diet say that because the cause of it is hereditary, I don't really have much hope of getting rid of it, no matter what I eat. I don't eat processed food, no fast food, no sugars, etc. and rarely eat anything with calories higher than 35 per serving. I'll see if I can't find a bit of research on that for you as well, but in the meantime I have no further information to provide.
