A Georgia man identified as Jeff was released about 12 hours after the last of several questioning sessions in which he refused to give detectives anything about an armed robbery carrying a ten-year minimum sentence. No charge from the robbery is recorded against him.

Detectives repeatedly brought Jeff, who was held on suspicion of the robbery, into the interview room for about eight hours in total. Asked whether he was under arrest, he answered, "Okay, then get me back to the cell. I don't talk to you motherfuckers."

Later, Jeff told detectives, "I ain't commit no fuckin' robbery, and y'all don't got no fuckin' evidence." One detective said he had a lot of physical evidence and was missing only a few pieces, but gave no specifics when challenged.

Jeff negotiated a soda and at one point asked, "How about that Butterfinger you promised?" He had a history of arrests connected to heroin use and was in withdrawal during the interviews, vomiting at one stage.

Low-resolution interview-room footage was posted to YouTube around 2011, surfaced on Reddit years later and became widely known after JCS analysed it. The roughly 14-minute video is JCS - Criminal Psychology's narrated analysis of the interview sessions, including commentary on how Jeff handled the detectives. The narration examines the suspect's behavior and the detectives' technique over the footage; it is not raw footage.
