A 15-year-old girl committed suicide in Navotas City, Metro Manila, Philippines due to an unknown reason (but not due to her boyfriend because her relationship with her boyfriend seemed well; maybe, family problem). Her face looked swollen at her funeral. She was buried on November 27.

A 24-year-old schoolteacher was admitted to St. Jude Hospital and Medical Center in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines on October 14, 2016 after her uterus was perforated as a result of delivering normally to her son on that day, who eventually survived. She was later slipped into a comatose due to severe loss of blood. She died on December 22, 2016. She was laid to rest on December 30, 2016 at Everlasting Peace Memorial Park in Malabon, Metro Manila.
