Everyone does mourn different, I've heard people say they want smiles and happiness at there funeral! But taking a family photo with your child in a casket is just plain disturbing! But who am I to judge!no offense to anyone in the world!

Totally agree. But with this particular family... We know there's "sad happy" and then there's "happy happy," and this family seemed to lean unusually heavily towards the latter.

Her obituary says she was an organ donor too. I think those cases are more difficult to embalm, but she looks alive in her casket.

Many of us are "organ donors" but that doesn't mean we all get the opportunity to donate our organs. You simply cannot take a heart or kidney from a dead person and put them in a patient. The donor is declared dead but has to be somewhat alive to donate.. ie: brain dead, in a vegetative state, in a coma.. So they are being kept alive by machines. In this case the girl commited suicide so she was obviously too dead to donate anything. So the "organ donor" part doesn't apply to how well she was embalmed.

Her obituary says she died in the hospital surrounded by family and loved ones. It also says she donated organs and tissues.

Perhaps she didn't commit suicide by hanging, or she was discovered only minutes too late?

I still question the malnutrition and starvation though. After reviewing the pictures again, her face actually looks very healthy. I would be more prone to believe it if she was bloated with a thin/skeletal face. She doesn't even have steroid face. All this makes me think she died because of other complications or secondary issues.

Who knows though, but it makes for great conversation! :-)
