Re: Various Different Women Shown in Their Casket
This.^ I don't like viewing the body. I'd rather remember the person as they were alive and not as they were dead, in a box, drained of all their bodily fluids, and covered in odd looking make-up. It's the standard protocol for the deceased here though. |

Re: Various Different Women Shown in Their Casket
I always tod peoplethat and they allways acted like I was retarded or something. "But this is the last time you'll be able to see such and such" Like I want the last time I see the person to be them laying dead in a coffin. Or my first though of that person to always be him/her dead laying in a coffin. And then after that image the other good trhings. Not cool. |

Cake makeup. My parents are being cremated due to my hatred of open casket funerals. It isnt healthy to stare at your dead loved ones body. Now people I am not close to.....idgaf. it is neat looking at them. Not emotionally destroying like a loved ones dead body. |

Re: Various Different Women Shown in Their Casket
My Aunts was the first open casket funeral or funeral I went to. I remember seeing her and she was so beautiful. It was creepy though I swear I saw her I lids move like she was sleeping. The rest of the funeral I couldn't look at her. I was 13... That being said it's much easier when they are cremated and you don't have to see them. |

Re: Various Different Women Shown in Their Casket
I also have gone to a long time family friends two little boys open casket funerals. After that I haven't gone to another one, I refuse. They were a year and a half apart and both had spinal muscular atrophy. Died at age two. It horrified me that people brought their children an let them climb up on them and everything. Weirdest fucking thing I've ever seen.
