On June 9, 2016, Sunshine Mallari Capinpin, 18, was killed in a shooting while travelling by motorcycle with her uncle in Arayat, Pampanga, in the Philippines. Her uncle, a local political official who appeared to have been the intended target, survived after being shot several times in the side. Communist rebels reportedly attempted to assassinate him, although accounts differed over who carried out the attack.

Sunshine appeared to have been shot once in the side. She died while still holding her phone, probably having tried to call for help as she bled to death. Donations from across the country after the killing covered the cost of a larger casket for her funeral. An external autopsy was conducted before the funeral.

Sunshine was sent to the morgue and underwent an external autopsy. Looks like she was shot in the armpit.

Sunshine was first laid out in a simple casket and white dress.

As word of her murder spread, gifts began to come in from across the country. Sunshine received a larger casket with lighting and a makeover.

Sunshine was interred in a fancy vault instead of a plain concrete one.

Before her death Sunshine modeled the clothes she would die and be dressed in at her funeral.

I think this is the first set ever to feature photos of the death, autopsy, funeral, interment, and the person in life. I even found photos of the deceased wearing the death and funeral clothes.
