Re: Extraction of Blood & Decomposition Fluids

I lift the femoral if the arteries in the neck are too feeble or they're collapsed.
I'm in Mortuary school. Very enjoyable and like the pleased look on the family's faces when their loved one looks fantastic

Re: Extraction of Blood & Decomposition Fluids

I get the puncturing of the abdominal organs but why into the neck/throat? That just seemed brutal.

Re: Extraction of Blood & Decomposition Fluids

This is the raising of the femoral artery and vein for embalming. The artery is injected with embalming fluid and the vein is used for draining the blood. It appears the embalmer ruptured the vein when raising it, hence some blood coming out.

Definitely an older gal. Would love to see some younger ones getting juiced too, 20-40s. The crazy places the trocar goes hey. I have seen them go down through the neck but never into the head like that. She definitely got a ride there

Re: Extraction of Blood & Decomposition Fluids

Medical examiner here, when we take fluids for toxicology or to store (we keep them for 4 years) its vitreous humor (eye) and blood from the heart. Vitreous humor is most reliable when we don't have a time of death as being very recent.
