From what I remember reading, ~2.5-3 grams of H is wrapped in 2 separate layers of latex which forms the characteristic oval shaped balloon you see in the photos of the autopsy. Each of these balloons is then dipped in petroleum jelly to aid in swallowing each pellet. Swallowing petroleum jelly apparently isn't poisonous but can cause diarrhea which also aids in the excretion of all the latex pellets. As far as what happens to confiscated drugs... Wall of off topic text: When I was busted with 3 grams of weed, the 2 cops who were on the scene confiscated it and told me to have a good night. I never heard from them again. I laugh thinking that they smoked it and then went to eat some doughnuts. Obviously heroin isn't weed but people will use if they want to use no matter what their job or profession might be. I know of a pharmacist where I live who was recently caught stealing and swallowing methadone. According to a relative of mine who's a nurse at a local hospital, apparently a few of the nurses and/or doctors are stoned on the job. I work with a few people myself who do what they do very well, never miss a day and confess they get high daily. Bla bla bla... |

I knew a girl that was a mule, this guy must have died in holding or in flight because if they would have died on the ground whoever was spotting him would have cut the shit out in a public bathroom if they had to.
