In my own defense... I'm not disputing the number 80% itself. I'm sure that is statistically accurate. I was speaking more to how and why its that way. No one can speak out against Putin, the RF, or the Russian military without facing fines or likely jail time. That's a factor, among many other things.

True. But there have been some US presidents who have had high approval ratings as well. Truman, Kennedy, Clinton, both Bush's... just off the top of my head, all had 80% or higher ratings. Polls are always iffy for me. It's not an all inclusive voting structure. Not everyone who has an opinion contributes to them. It seems that those that do feel very strongly one way or another about a particular person. And then there is the information fed to the public of every country that influences these numbers as well. Information that may or may not be legit.

Shit would have been done by now had the US not stuck their nose into it. Biden gives billions of weapons to the taliban and now he’s helping Nazis. Been tons of Nazis in Ukraine since the day of Barbarossa- this is nothing new! Wasn’t that long ago 27 million Russians were slaughtered by the Nazis. The generational impact of this cannot be underestimated. This is such a pointless conflict until Russia strikes a decisive blow and cleans the resistance out. Ok Putin is bad ok invasion is naughty, got it. After the collapse of USSR, NATO and the UN treats Russia like a defeated country that signed treaties to behave. Russia has been warning of a major conflict with Ukraine, for YEARS. I’m upset by this as nothing good will come from it, now. Those who are extremely upset by this usually have zero clue that the warning signs were around for fucking decades. The world pays attention every time there’s a smelly fart in Israel. Few people have any clue of the complex roots of this problem. Same thing here. Now shits going down and suddenly western influence is so butthurt. If you did not care 10 years ago, why do you care now? I blame NATO and the UN. Not for starting this, but for ignoring the fuck out of it until it’s far too late. Kill one and you’re a murderer. Kill many and you’re a conqueror. Kill them all and history will write the truth of whom ever is standing. Between world stability and Ukraine’s small unstable ass? Fuckin waste them and get it over with. That’s the only clear way out of this mess.  |
