I've seen this before in slow-mo; the first bullet hits the road first before hitting him in the back traveling upwards, then the second bullet (which also hits the road first) ploughs into the side of his head. trippy seeing it in actual speed.  |

Since he is firing at USA forces in front of him and the strikes are on the road behind him I think it's a safe bet to assume it's is rounds going right through him that are hitting the road. Since he is low to the ground it is also reasonable to assume that someone higher up would be sending rounds his way at a downward angle. JMO
