Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III

Morozovsk airfield. The Russians claim that there were no aircraft at the airfield, and Ukr. began to claim that the hangars with the planes were destroyed.

After analyzing the pictures from June 13 [the day before the attack], we see that there was still aviation at the airfield, although less than a few days earlier, due to the training conducted in North Ossetia.

In total, there are about 6 silhouettes of Su-34 aircraft , one of which is clearly at the place where significant traces of the fire can be seen in the new pictures. Accordingly, it can be assumed that this plane was really on fire.

The destroyed hangar, which Ukr. media immediately called an "aviation" hangar, it is not. At a minimum, it is not intended for aircraft, but is intended, for example, for maintenance equipment, or as a simple warehouse.

It is possible that there could be parts from "donors", but it is unlikely that there were full-fledged planes, although this is also possible.

Marine drone Magura, now equipped with an air-to-air missile - GUR.

The evolution of drones is gaining momentum, and it is likely that we will soon see not only enemy helicopters falling, which they use against our drones.

The only thing that I would really like is that this should not be talked about before successful operations, like all the other latest developments and modernizations of the Ukrainian Military Industry. It is necessary for the enemy to learn about the changes after the defeat.

The German-French military company KNDS has been tasked with the delivery of 54 RCH 155 wheeled SPH to Ukraine.

The RCH 155 (Remote Controlled Howitzer 155 mm) is a wheeled self-propelled howitzer developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (now known as KNDS Deutschland), a German defence company.

The RCH 155 Module takes the firepower and the range of the PzH 2000 by using its gun (155 mm L/52), and combines it with an automated and remotely controlled gun module.

The intention of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann with this system was to create the ideal combination of artillery automation and protected wheeled mobility.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room III

The Skyranger family offers mobile defence against all current and future battlefield air threats. The Skyranger combines superior firepower, active and passive sensors and the dynamics needed to engage the most demanding targets performing loiter, pop-up or dive attacks.

The use of best-in-class cannon systems means that the Skyranger can stand its ground against swarming attacks and its mobility means that it can be deployed alongside ground forces or for stationary vital-asset protection.

The Skyranger can independently generate its own local air picture whilst its command and control architecture (Skymaster), IFF and data link mean that it can be seamlessly integrated into the battle order and command structure.

Depending on the tactical needs and the required target spectrum, the Skyranger can be equipped with a 35 mm x 228 KDG revolver cannon or a 30 mm x 173 KCE revolver cannon.

Both cannons are characterised by a high rate of fire, excellent precision and airburst ammunition. The 35mm calibre offers C-RAM capability and an effective range of up to 4,000m.

The 30 mm calibre has an effective range of up to 3,000m and the gun turret is designed to also mount short-range air defence missiles.

The highly modular design approach chosen allows customized active or passive sensor configurations. These include AESA radars, passive panoview systems and optronic packages.

Advanced algorithms are used to fuse the sensor data together, classify the targets and support the operators in their decision making.

As the threats evolve, so does the Skyranger. Integration of a high-energy laser or vertically launched C-PGM missiles is being explored.

Ukraine will receive modern Skyranger air defense systems mounted on Leopard 1 chassis, calling them "Frankenstein tanks".

There was an attack on the oil depot in Azov last night and as of 14:30 today the oil depot was still burning. Up to 60 thousand tons of petroleum products pass through this terminal every month.

Nifty little kit. I wonder how it cuts down a tree and uses a ditching log to free itself from mud or fixes a thrown track.
