The Russians do exactly the same thing, no?

When they have a victory, it’s because they’re fighting against a weak, Nazi-worshipping opponent which no one can support.

When they are losing, it’s because they’re not just fighting Ukraine, but all of NATO, including the US, the 1st military of the world, is right there on the battlefield opposing them.

The reality is, Ukraine has received a lot of materiel and intelligence support from the west, but not all that is available on-tap because the western governments have all had segments who oppose sending too much of their treasure and arms to Ukraine, potentially leaving themselves vulnerable.

Also, while there is no doubt a JSOC presence in Ukraine, it is FAR from a significant green-suit presence like Putin would have you believe when his army is getting its ass handed to it.

Meanwhile, Russia has thrown more of its own total-war capability at Ukraine than it has anywhere since 1945.

Distilled down: Russian, the “2nd greatest military in the world”, has had an objectively embarrassing go of the last two years, against a smaller, weaker, less equipped foe who’s been getting some serious, but far from all-in, support from another country that could rival Russia’s supposed capabilities.

Russia’s military is clearly not all they’d have had us believe it was two years ago.

This is 100% the logo of a Pro-Russian DPR battalion that has posted numerous drone videos of them attacking Ukrainians. They are called Sparta. It includes the pre-Communist Russian Tsarist Imperial flag (black on yellow) in the background.

There are Russians sources trying to portray this as a "Ukrainian" unit because this unit was formed from an area that Russia has proclaimed as their own (DPR/DNR) even though their legitimacy and control of this area has been heavily contested since 2014.

Don't be fooled. They are Russians.
