Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
I think this is all an elaborate, choreographed deception. It was mooted months ago that Putin was looking for a reason to get out of Ukraine, and one possible way would be to create a domestic emergency necessitating the recall of troops from Ukraine. What that emergency was, was speculated as possible a nuclear emergency, or other military threat. Now we see Putin's mate invading Russia to save Russia from the Russians. And remember, if its on state TV its probably a lie. And yet no criticism of Putin. Just other politicians in the Defence ministry. The Russians will withdraw from Ukraine, the 'coup' ends and Putins mate gets sentenced to life on an Egyptian beach. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Yea. The excuse to leave Ukraine rather than openly accept defeat. Instead say we had to pull out which would still leave the threat in the future. Ukraine joins nato and Belarus has its tactical on the door step. Interesting take. I’d like to think that the Wagner guy thinks he can do a. Better job than shit tin. And instead the Russian ppl can now actually see world news and the situation rather than the shit they are fed. Hey Faust and jubodrag. This is a bit of a twist isn’t it. Are y gonna start posting us pictures of the e losses the great Russian army is making on Wagner ? They might even decide to change sides. Then what ya gonna do. You’ll be fucked wontcha. We won’t have to put up with your bollocks anymore. Best news ever. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Not sure if these reports of Prigozhin agreeing to disband PMC Wagner are true. If Prigozhin doesn't disband and remains in Russia it would still cause a large issue for the Kremlin and would tie up forces that would otherwise go to Ukraine.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"While Prigozhin was marching through Russia, soldiers of the Ukrainian 1st mechanized battalion clashed with the 3rd battalion of the Russian 57th Guards motorized rifle brigade, clearing the western bank of the Siverskiy Donets-Donbas canal. The enemy battalion lost 50 wounded and over 30 killed and practically stopped existing. This was reported by the commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade Andriy Byletskiy."
