The UK is also working with other allied countries to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighters."  "According to the DIU, 152,000 Russian troops remain in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. All their actions indicate that they are preparing for defense. Civilians, including the staff of the seized nuclear power plant in Enerhodar, are being forcibly evacuated."

President Zelenskyy arrived in London, England today. "Zelensky arrives in London after a visit to France. "Prigozhin offered Ukraine to surrender the location of Russian troops in exchange for the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdrawing from Bakhmut, where his mercenaries were killed en masse, WP reports, citing leaked documents. The publication writes that two Ukrainian officials confirmed that Prigozhin spoke several times with representatives of the DIU - contacts even allegedly included personal meetings with Ukrainian intelligence officers in an unspecified African country. Kyiv rejected his offer because the officials do not trust Prigozhin and believe that his proposals could be insincere. In an interview with WP, Zelensky did not confirm contacts with Prigozhin, and the owner of the Wagner PMC mocked the publication, saying that he "is still with Budanov in Africa.""  "The DIU responded to The Washington Post's publication about its alleged contacts with the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevheniy Prigozhin. DIU spokesman Andriy Yusov said during a telethon that the intelligence services would discuss such things when it is necessary and in the national interest. "As for individual fakes, I don't think we should comment on it," Yusov added."

Local media reported that the president of the court was arrested. Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported on their social media accounts late on Monday ono alleged corruption in the country's Supreme Court. "NABU and SAP have exposed large-scale corruption in the Supreme Court, in particular a scheme to obtain undue advantages by the leadership and judges of the Supreme Court," the anti-corruption bodies said on Facebook. Who is alleged to have bribed whom, and why, was not clear from the statement. NABU and SAP also published a photo of bundles of banknotes on a couch, promising to release details later.  Court's president reported to be arrested Meanwhile, the Supreme Court announced an extraordinary meeting. "In connection with the events taking place around the President of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Kniaziev, an extraordinary meeting of the Plenum of the Supreme Court will be held on May 16, 2023," the court said on Facebook. Ukrainian media reported that Kniaziev was caught receiving $3 million (€2.76 million) in bribes, and that other judges of the top judicial body were being raided. Kniaziev was installed as chairman of the Supreme Court in October 2021. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly promised a more determined fight against the culture of bribes that is widespread in the country. Zelenskyy's main aim is to show that Ukraine is ready to negotiate for European Union membership.

. Ello Faustus It seems that with a few minor changes the stormshadow missiles can indeed be fitted to the Ukrainian vehicles. This was stated on a media report I read yesterday. |

According to UNITED24, the deployment of such a decoy takes 10 minutes, and it will take another 25 minutes to pack an inflatable HIMARS into a suitcase. "France will transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine, Macron said. Considering that the French military also uses Storm Shadow, but with a different name - SCALP-EG, it is likely that Macron was referring to these missiles. The French are armed with about 500 SCALP-EG."
