In this occasion yes. It is true.

In general, "8 let Dambili Bambas" (read as bambas, since we use to say Danbas, even if it is written Donbas, this is also valid for a lot of words, not only this, like "Opyat'" that we say Apyat' [lit. again] and so on, hope is clear) becomes some kind of lol in Ukraine, since almost everyone of them (separs or ruzzias) telling like this.
