Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
According to multiple sources, Ukrainian forces continue to maintain 2 bridgeheads across the Dnipro. Heavy fighting takes places in Kozachi Laheri and south of Ponyativka. Heavy artillery shelling arrives from the direction of Chelburda. Ukrainian special forces and marines perform the unthinkable in raids across the Dnipro. If counter-battery radars are planted across the Dniepr, that could be a good occasion to smoke out a lot of Russian artillery and deplete their reserves even more. Ukrainian artillery using cluster munitions hit and destroyed an assault group of Russian forces which was attempting to flee south of Urozhaine. Videos of that are the last 2 vids posted HERE |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Something technical or electrical has happened here as they didn't eject which suggests to me that the ejection system failed as they did have time or a window of opportunity to eject from the initial left bank turn that they tried to execute, as it's almost a complete lock up of all systems to prevent the plane from making the maneuver & also allowing the crew to safely eject when it was obvious that the recovery of the flight systems & aircraft was not going to happen. Also, there was also no counter roll to the right side of the aircraft to level off before climbing out to gain altitude & assess the situation a bit better as it's a very unusual angle to have the aircraft in without any obvious counter maneuver or correction & was in that profile or pattern, almost inverted, for some time as if they were struggling with it but it, the plane wouldn't react & then decided to punch out (eject ) but couldn't because whatever systems failed, also failed in the ejection seat systems & that's strange in itself as the ejection seats systems are independent systems of their very own so as to prevent them from being shut down if there's a failure in the onboard flight systems & as such it won't affect you getting out of the aircraft if the need arises but whatever is going on here, it's a weird one. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
"One of the private workshops, where the ground drone "Targan" is constructed at the expense of volunteers. It is interesting that in two modifications there is a kamikaze drone and a robot-changer, which can lay two TM-62 anti-tank mines at once. ℹ️ As for the kamikaze version, we already saw the test of a similar drone (but here due to the fact that two anti-tank mines are mounted on board) in April. Although there is no information about the practical implementation in the conditions of the database yet." Note: the third video is the one the source referred to above posted 28 April with the following information: "Tests of the Ukrainian wheeled kamikaze drone , on which two TM-62 anti-tank mines are mounted. The idea is not new, but it is very relevant for our realities. A few of these can easily disrupt an enemy tank attack."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
I'm just relaying.. No idea on authenticity "BREAKING NEWS. After using Wagner to threaten NATO countries Lukashenko now wants good relations with Poland. He tried to use Wagner as protection against his own military and against a Putin take over of Belarus, but Putin caught on to his game and forgave Prigozhin and Wagner. Putin then prepared to use Wagner to take control of Belarus. Lukashenko knows Belarus is on the chopping block so now he wants to be friends with a NATO country. Maybe even seeking protection from Russia by joining NATO. One thing is for sure, Lukashenko would not cozy up to a NATO nation if things were going good for Putin in Ukraine. Stay tuned." |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
According to reports, Yevgeny Prigozhin’s mercenaries are being bussed from Belarus back to Russian territory, which could cause a major headache for the Kremlin. According to Russian sources, Wagner’s mercenaries in Belarus are withdrawing back to Russian territory by bus in batches of 500-600. The first stage of the withdrawal has reportedly already been completed and the second stage will begin after Aug. 13. One Russian milblogger wrote: “Officially, this is being described as sending fighters on vacation. However, no one talks about returning to Belarus. “The fighters are only ordered to stay in touch with Wagner authorities for new orders which can come at any time.” There has not yet currently been independent visual confirmation that Wagner forces are withdrawing from Belarus though. According to the same Russian source, it’s all about money – Lukashenko was under the impression that Russia would be funding Wagner’s stay in Belarus and he has refused to pay for it out of his own pocket. But Western analysts suggest something bigger might be going on. In its daily assessment on Aug. 9, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), said: “Speculations about the Wagner Group's withdrawal from Belarus suggest that aspects of the deal between [Putin] and [Prigozhin] following Wagner's armed rebellion on June 24 have collapsed. “The likely collapse of aspects of the Wagner-Putin-Lukashenko deal indicates that Putin has failed to decisively resolve issues posed by Prigozhin and Wagner following Wagner's June 24 rebellion.” It adds that Putin is aiming to “definitively separate Prigozhin from Wagner” as he is “likely still concerned about the threat that Prigozhin poses to his long-term goals.” The ISW then theorizes that Putin may have facilitated Wagner’s return to Russia “so that he can more easily facilitate” its “subordination to the Russian [Ministry of Defense] or disband the organization entirely.” The other player in all this is Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu who is reportedly determined to take over Wagner’s extensive military operations in Africa. If he does, he will seriously annoy those in Wagner who make a lot of money from these endeavors at a time when Putin is trying to keep them onside and convince them to join Russia’s regular armed forces. NATO has an opportunity here. The United States and Canada recently levied new sanctions on Belarus. They should lean heavily into putting pressure on Lukashenko by supporting the European Union's plan to shut down the border with Belarus and consider deploying a NATO Response Force into the Suwalki Gap to demonstrate their intent to defend this strategic region. Lukashenko is exposed. Waning support from Putin and Wagner, coupled with a depleted treasury, may present an opportunity for the Tsikhanouskaya government in exile. Agitating Poland is not in his best interest. Maybe they will board in Russia aircraft to transport them to Africa.
