Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
I think they arent flown over because that could create a lot of plitical problems. Who is going to fly them over? If the Polish, then for a brief moment, a polish pilot would be flying in Ukrainian airspace on a weaponsystem meant to kill Russians. That would make Polish an active part of the conflict. There would also be a slim, but very real possibility that a Polish pilot is shot down over Ukraine. That would be another political disaster. If Ukrainian pilots flew to Poland, to pick up the helicopters/fighter jets then Russia can say that Ukraine is using poland as a launch site for its fighter jets and helicopters( the same way as Russia is using Belarus as a launch site for attacks ). I remember a discussion a while back about delivering fighter jets to Poland, and already back then, people were saying that the F-16 cant be flown into Ukraine from the west because of those reasons. I guess they are handed over to Ukraine in a non-flying/battle ready condition as military aid and its up to Ukraine to actually get them combat ready. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Yeah, part of the reason why such a high rate of eastern, extremely poor Russians have been sent to Ukraine is so Moscow/St.Petersburg Russian mobilized/servicemen don't die, God knows who their uncle is. Kremlin is pretty clearly trying to insulate the Russian families with social standing/money from this war as much as possible.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Also, there's the fact that they probably don't want to turn off / stand down ect any missile systems protecting that part or regions of airspace for fear of a surprise attack ect & IMO also is because they don't want a friendly fire incident happening or similar but very good points from Scorpion indeed. We may get a more concise explanation as to why but for now, I'm just happy enough that Ukraine is getting them to overlook the reasoning behind the mode of transport. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Totally Agree. IMO, probably a reason behind the way that they are going about things NAZI Style is to empty their lands of what they consider to be Sub Class Citizens, the poor, the old who can't work costing them millions in health care & pensions, Emptying the Jails so that they can not only slow the UAF down a bit but also save hundreds of millions on housing & feeding these useless fucked up individuals as they cost money when russia wants taxpayers & ppl who won't question their authority, a bunch of yes men & woman that will benefit mother russia, who will conform to their values & ways without question, re russiafying russians in anti-west propaganda under the Poo Tin Nazi Party as the less ppl they have to look after, the more cheese there is to go around. Time will tell though as I for one don't think that Poo Tin is that stupid to do what he's doing & that there must be more to this than meets the eye but only time will tell I suppose & at the hands of a lot more casualties, military & civilian alike. |

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Another chunk of information Faust will not see because he's banned. I have no idea where he got his latest "western partners will stop sending money/military aid if Ukraine makes any progress/headway/victories in their counteroffensive" information. This kind of stuff is all over the place: "New military aid to Ukraine is being prepared - French Foreign Minister "France has repeatedly affirmed that it will support Ukraine as long as necessary to enable it to legitimately defend its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. No one should doubt our determination to honor this commitment," assured French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna." "Ukraine produced more shells in June than in the whole of last year - Minister of Strategic Industries Kamyshyn in an interview with Bloomberg Bloomberg notes that Ukraine's ammunition production is now picking up, albeit from a low level. Ukraine's Stugna-P anti-tank systems have also begun to be produced faster. The next priority is to increase the production of tanks and armored vehicles, but, according to Kamyshyn, this can happen in 3-6 months." "Construction of a plant for the production of Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles has begun in Ukraine, Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin has announced." "Zelensky called it logical rhetoric to say that Putin will be forced to seek a dialogue when Ukrainian troops are on the administrative border with occupied Crimea. When asked if this was "possible," Zelensky said: "Well, this is absolutely clear, logical rhetoric that the moment Ukraine reaches the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, it is very likely that Putin will be forced to seek dialogue with the civilized world, unlike before the full-scale invasion, because he will be weakened." The president also said that he does not feel "any pressure" from Western allies to make Ukraine's counteroffensive faster."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
Another name to add to the SRDS (Sudden Russian Death Syndrome) list. Commander involved in strikes on Ukraine shot dead in Russia MONDAY, 10 JULY 2023, 20:49 Stanislav Rzhytsky, deputy head of the department for mobilisation, was shot dead in the city of Krasnodar, Russia. According to media reports, he was involved in missile attacks on Ukraine. Source: Russian RBC referring to a comment from the administration of Krasnodar; anonymous Telegram channels Details: Anonymous pro-Russian Telegram channels have reported that 42-year-old Stanislav Rzhytsky went for a run at eight o'clock in the morning. He was ambushed near the Olimp sports complex by an unknown person who shot Rzhytsky four times in the back and chest and then fled the scene. The victim died on the spot from his injuries. The Krasnodar administration confirmed to RBC the death of Stanislav Rzhytsky, deputy head of the department for mobilisation, saying that law enforcement agencies are investigating his death. Law enforcement officers told TASS that "an unknown person shot a man several times and disappeared". Previously:
"Evacuation has been announced in Sumy region from the 5-km border zone with Russia. The local Regional Military Administration made this decision due to a significant increase in Russian shelling: since the beginning of 2023, 35 civilians have been killed in hostile attacks there (17 in the past month).

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room II
UPDATE: "Russian media report that the murder of Stanislav Rzhytskiy, ex-commander of Krasnodar submarine (see my previous tweet for details) has been carefully planned. So far Russian police cannot find a single surveillance camera that would show the crime being committed. The search continues. Obviously, the Russian police name "order from Ukraine" as the main possible murder cause - Russian media. They rely on Rzhytskiy commanding Krasnodar submarine which, reportedly, launched Kalibr missiles on Ukraine as the motive."
