Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Ukrainian intelligence admits that our agents "work" on the territory of Russia Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian agents have been working in Russia, conducting operations "using various means". These operations are complex and require serious preparation, because Russians are well guarding their military facilities. "Our targets are purely military: objects of the Russian armed forces from which strikes on Ukraine are carried out, in particular logistics centers, command posts or garrisons with a large number of soldiers," said Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in an interview with the German edition Bild.

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
The Southern Defense Forces see signs that Russian invaders are acting according to the same scenario as they did when retreating from Kherson with regard to the temporarily occupied Melitopol

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
They apparantly moved a battalion of troops out of Melitopol to further south. Thing is though, there hasn't been an offensive in Zaporizhia yet. The last call on Telegram of a Ukr offensive around Pavlivka (north of Mariupol) around a month ago turned out to be not correct.

The British Air Force is testing a new type of Ghost Drone. It uses artificial intelligence to gather intelligence, detect and track targets, can fly for up to 55 minutes, a range of about 12 km, can work at low temperatures down to -40°C at an altitude of 3600 m

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
CNN, citing sources, writes that Ukraine will receive "converters" of bombs into high-precision missiles in a new package from the United States. We are talking about Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits. In fact, these are trailed missile wings and tail, which are "put on" on an unguided bomb. Such kits can be installed on bombs of different weights and sizes. NOTE: they are also going to be receiving one Patriot "battery". Below is a snippet of a WashPost article about it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...kraine-russia/ Ukraine is to receive one Patriot battery, which has up to eight launchers each that hold between four and 16 missiles, depending on the type of munition used. U.S. forces will train Ukrainians to operate and maintain the system in a third country, probably Germany. “This will take some time,” the official said, “but Ukrainian troops will take that training back to their country to operate this battery.” It is unlikely that the air defense system will arrive in Ukraine before spring. PS. you can get around WashPost and other paywalls on a PC (Chrome browser) by: -hit f12 to bring up the dev console -click the cogwheel in the top upper right (there are two fairly close together but it's the one at the very top of the window) -scroll all the way down to the bottom and check the box "disable JavaScript" -leave the console open, right click on the washpost page and refresh You have to leave the dev console open or javascript automatically re-enables

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
Zelenskyy's visit to Washington today... dumping a bunch of stuff from it here. There's too much information to include... so anyone who's interested will just have to go read up on the visit. The first two photos are Zelenskyy during a visit a couple years ago versus now. Everything else is from his visit today.
