The head of the private military company "Wagner" Yevhen Prygozhyn supports the idea of sending women prisoners in Russia to the war against Ukraine.

In particular, the deputy of Sverdlovsk region Vyacheslav Wegner addressed Prigozhin. Wegner stated that he had been approached by a group of women serving their sentences in the penal colony No. 6 in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region. Allegedly, these women "are ready to go to the zone of special military operation as signalers, doctors, nurses" to assist the occupiers.
Literally, Prigozhin's answer: "I absolutely agree with you. Not only as nurses and signalers, but also in sabotage groups and sniper pairs.
Everyone knows that it was widely used. We are working in this direction. There is resistance, but I think we will push on."

Putin is preparing the population of Russia for a protracted war, writes the Financial Times.

The President of the Russian Federation, for the second time in a month, said that the war in Ukraine is becoming “extremely complex” and hostilities could drag on.

Putin does not appear to be giving up on his maximalist goals, which essentially boil down to the destruction of Ukraine in its current form, even as the Russian Federation struggles to gain ground.

One of the latest talking points by the pro-Russian side is how Zelenskyy is unwilling to hold any kind of diplomatic peace talks. Even going as far as to say as he doesn't want this to end.

As I have posted previously in November, Zelenskyy has, in fact, put forth his/Ukraine's points for a proposed ceasefire and peace talks.

As of late, I have been seeing more and more talk from Russia (thereby laying a foundation for yet another false narrative) on how Zelenskyy is not willing to find a diplomatic resolution. Putin is obviously preparing the public for a long, drawn out war... by placing the blame on Ukraine, once again.

What's really going on is that after 8+ years of conflict and defense of sovereign territories against unwanted Russian advances; after 9 months of a full scale invasion by Russia that which Russia won't even call it a war; after all the killing, destruction, and malicious intent of wiping Ukraine and it's people from the face of the earth; after multiple attempts early in the invasion of peace talks that Russia wasn't taking seriously; after all the war crimes and indiscriminate shelling all over the country... Ukraine has collectively decided they're done with deals, done with false promises, and empty guarantees. Done with Russia laying claim to any Ukrainian territory. Because Zelenskyy is currently the head of the government... it's his responsibility to carry forth the message and back it up with actions in the best interests of the country and for it's people.

So if Putin is actively preparing the country for protracted war, perhaps he's the one not willing to find a diplomatic solution. Delusional expectations, pride and ego of the Russian government are the only thing standing in the way of a peaceful end to this.

They made a grave miscalculation in the will and determination of a "brother" neighboring country. Massive underestimation of Ukraine's capability together with the support of nearly the entire world behind them. This has got to be a sobering and unfathomable scenario for them to face. I fear this is not going to end well one way or another. I hope I am wrong.

5. Implementation of the UN Charter and restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the world order.
6. Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities.
7. Restoring justice.
8. Anti-ecocide.
9. Prevention of escalation.
10. Fixing the end of the war.

Operational information as of 06.00 on 23.12.2022 regarding the Russian invasion

In connection with significant losses, the occupiers set up a military hospital at one of the recreation bases in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, several tourist bases in the specified settlement are used to accommodate servicemen of the occupation forces.

On the territory of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, enemy units are carrying out engineering equipment of defensive positions along the highway Krasnoperekopsk - Dzhankoy.

During the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, destroyed three anti-aircraft missile systems and one enemy UAV center.
