Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
NO MEDIA. Posted by a Ukrainian Soldier directly. Avdiivka "RUSSIAN 10th TANK REGIMENT DECIMATED IN AVDIVKA Russias 10th Tank Regiment has been largely wiped out by appalling tactics, a bad strategy and, no less importantly, atrocious moral, ill disciplined troops and drunkenness. There has been a widespread effort by Russian military authorities to stop the chronic alcohol problem that has universally dogged Russian society and its military especially. The problem is that troops resent the loss of what they see as a basic right and do everything in their power to circumvent any restrictions. This opens up the whole alcohol market at the front to even more corruption in an illegal distribution network. On top of that troops are being blocked from receiving care parcels from home (which nearly always have alcohol), and resentment just continues to build. One unit recently video complained that they were being taxed by their local commanders - those who didn’t pay up first time were moved from the rear to the second line, and if they failed to pay up a second time, we’re placed on the front line and almost certain death. The problem of discipline is becoming increasingly obvious - troops are becoming experienced - not necessarily in combat but in the way they’re being treated and how to deal with it. They start off being abused and mistreated and soon find ways to deal with it and even respond to it. One of the bizarre problems that’s actually making things worse, is that by not paying or feeding troops they soon start to see they have nothing to loose, and when that happens those above them are likely to find they have no leverage to persuade, let alone order troops to do anything. Ironically one way of bribing them into doing something is with alcohol and the results speak for themselves. Russia’s system of making it look like you did something and padding it with excuses when it doesn’t work, runs up the entire chain of command. The reality of the situation is massaged out the entire chain until it reaches the top without a modicum of reality included. Is it any wonder Russia will lose this war?"

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
"British Intelligence: Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a successful operation near Bakhmut "One of the key achievements of recent Ukrainian operations is likely to have been the pushing back of Russian Wagner group militants from road 0506," the review says. This secondary road, which connects Chasiv Yar and Khromove, has become a critical supply line for Ukrainian defenders. Previously, Wagner was located several hundred meters away from it."

Re: Whiskey's Briefing Room
As we approach the 1 year mark of the discovery of the atrocities committed in Bucha and Irpin by Russian forces, here is the first of what I expect to be many anniversary videos about it. "Events that could not be imagined in the 21st century have become a reality in the satellite cities of Kyiv – Bucha and Irpin in 2022. For many residents of the Kyiv region, the past year has become the most horrific in their entire lives. "
