That makes me think of that movie you recommended... Dog. She was traumatized by her time deployed, then her handler being killed. That dog in that video reminds me of her.

Belgian Malinois are freaking nuts... but so incredibly loyal. My wife's family has one, gorgeous dog but I might believe it needs a strong sedative at all times  |

Love Mali's! I could never have one, however. They require a lot. To compare... I have 7 parrots going on 20 years... I know a shit ton of parrot related info from diet, behavior, stimulation, positive corrections, yadda yadda yadda... but a Cockatoo... is the Malinois of the bird world. They all have very specific needs overall, but 'Too's are in a class their own. They are very loud, very animated, very destructive, very intense. But they are very sweet and absolutely hilarious. I don't think I could ever have a Cockatoo.
