A wound located there should have been cleaned off and a chest seal should have been slapped on, whether or not you saw bubbles. Another poster said this would have prevented a hemothorax but it’s actually a tension pneumothorax we are trying to prevent. A big killer on the battlefield. That was an israeli bandage they were putting on. If I ever saw one of my medics putting that on a wound there I would be smoking their ass like there was no tomorrow. Granted there may not have been a medic among them at the time but that’s basic CLS for Pete’s sake!! The guy lived through that injury though. |

Seeing this kind of shit pissed me off. These soldiers were running around like idiots because they let panic set it. Not a single nco stepped up and took charge. I guess next time they will pay more attention in cls class. So much shit they should of done alot better |
