So a USA soldier shot by a terrorist group created by USA? Though luck. I kind of feel sorry for the young people who believe they fight and give their lives for freedom and democracy while in reality they are doing the opposite of that. |

I remember rolling up in the aftermath of a Somali firefight, and seeing a guy bleed out right next to me, just, the seeing the huge pool of blood grow, and I knew he was a goner immediately, but I was driving the lead convoy humvee, and all I could do is roll past him, driving around him, and I could just see him lay there staring at me, like he knew he was f$%ed, but nobody could do anything about it.... just staring him in the eyes as I drove by.... watching the life drain out of him... still sticks with me

It doesn't look like he had his plates in, standard issue is a flak jacket. It's not bullet proof, it's meant to stop shrapnel, not high impact full metal jacket rounds

I didn't see any bubbles... tell tale sign of a sucking chest wound.... those guys had to be army, because in the Marines we are all taught how to treat wounds like that in bootcamp, no dis to the army, just sayin'
