The Army medic just slapped that on real quick.. The battle dressing slipped off the wound when the patient got up to ambulate. It could have been secured better if the medic would have ripped the dressing down the middle of the securing straps. That would have gave that dressing (4) tails to secure the wound better. The other name of that dressing is called a modified Barton's dressing.. The patient is lucky he was able to walk away from that  |
