Lucky.... the Japanese didn't want to waist ammo when doing this instead they would use the knife/bayonet.

Could have been checking to see if they guy was faking being dead. It's hard to 'play dead' when a .45 slug or two is shot through your legs. If you were still capable, you would most definitely react. There were numerous cases of Japanese wounded and non-wounded hiding among the dead in order to kill at least one more American by ambush. Best to be sure. |

thats war buddy.. any country in the situation of having to worry about some dude playin dead tryin to kill them, will without question finish every last one of em off. playin dead tryin to take somebody out is dirty. so fuck em
