The English language is used throughout the world, and most people in the world understand English, at least on a basic level. That being said, machines used for war usually have English written on them, unless they're made locally in a country that doesn't speak English natively, for the people of that county. Also, ISIS gets most of their weaponry from raids, stealing whatever they can find, after killing those guarding it. They started with just robes and AK's, because they were cheap and readily available, but effective. After raiding, they've been able to acquire advanced weaponry as well as tanks that the US gave to the Iraqi military, for them to use. ISIS did raids, took the tanks and anything else they could get their hands on. Doesn't mean that the US gave the weapons to ISIS, it means the Iraqi military did a shit job of securing their weaponry.

All the while Obama was in office, you were all obsessed with the idea that Obama was going to take away your guns. And now you think he was giving guns to ISIS. Notice you still have your guns, and you might stumble across the intelligence required to realize that he wasn't giving arms to ISIS either. But that's a big step to go from no brains to intelligence in one thought. Maybe in a few years, after you've thought to educate yourself with common sense, you might understand that.

Not really. They came from the west(most likely funded by united states). The only reason they record these missiles attack is to prove they are using them on americas enemies. We don't provide them with new missiles until they show us what they did with the old ones. Not a perfect system, but like you said regarding the quality/sophistication of the arms. They are certainly death machines, but outdated by 20 years so even if they end up in the wrong hands they won't be taking out any americans most likely. |

So true. Isis's armament was and continues to be a joke. They are still using Russian Mosin Nagets; that's a bolt action rifle built in the 19th century. Guns leftover from desert storm that were given to them by the Russians. Only time they get their hands on modern weaponry is when they take out Iraqi Army strongholds which have surplus weaponry from the Bush and Obama era. |
