Gotta feel bad for americans. 6 trillion of tax payer's money down the drain, or rather pocketed by some corrupt officials. If yankees wouldn't be so sheepish, they would start voting for third parties purely as revenge vote and to remind their politicians that they aren't invincible. But thats not likely going to happen because "vote for establishment no matter what"-mentality seems to be ingrained there.

All I gotta say is if you're dumb enough to protest in the streets of Whereverbad, while the Taliban is hopped up on victory and nobody to save your ass...well you kind of deserve what's a comin'. It's a kind of "modern natural selection", too bad we can't utilize in other ways/places  |

Biden didn't fuck the withdrawal. Who expected the entire Afghan Armed Forces to fall apart in just 4 days. Not even the Taliban. English journalist Jim Noel, who knows most of the Taliban high command (They asked him personally to come over and do an interview with the new Taliban leadership just a week ago) said they told him they were completely flummoxed and had NO IDEA things would fall apart that fast. They were really scrambling to catch up as the Afghan forces melted away. The Taliban themselves thought it would take at least 6 months after the U.S. withdrew, for them to make any progress. Noel ALSO pointed out that in watching the videos of the Taliban coming out of Afghanistan, a LOT of the Taliban troops handle their weapons in a manner that indicates they were trained by either Great Britain, or the U.S. military. So they all were part of the Afghan army until last week. |
