HRE (Afrin Liberation Forces) an off-shoot of the Kurdish-PKK branch, conducted an operation on September 7. HRE forces carried out a qualitative operation in the Sharan district, 10 miles from Afrin, against a group of Turkish-backed mercenaries. As a result, 5 mercenaries were killed.

In a statement today, they said: "In response to the attacks and policies of the Turkish occupation and its affiliated mercenaries, our operations continue without pause."

The forces revealed in the statement a series of operations conducted against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, as follows:

- On August 26, our forces carried out a sniper operation on the Azaz front, resulting in the killing of one mercenary.

- On September 2, our forces conducted two sniper operations on the Azaz front, resulting in the killing of two mercenaries.

- On September 7, our forces carried out a special operation on the Maryamin and Anabkeh fronts in the Shara district against a group of mercenaries. Our forces managed to penetrate enemy gathering points, despite their heavy fortifications and barbed wire. All the mercenaries present there were targeted, surveillance cameras were destroyed, five mercenaries were killed, and two AK-47 rifles, along with two ammunition vests and all their rounds, were seized.

As a result of these operations, 8 mercenaries of the Turkish occupation were killed.
