1. The Ukrainian Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) released a longer video of their operation against the russian-occupied gas rig “Crimea-2”.

The operation was undertaken in the night from September 10 to 11. It shows the gas rig heavily hit, including several explosions.

russia occupied several gas rigs in 2014. Today, they are used as listening posts, air defense platforms, for electronic warfare and also to coordinate UAV attacks against Ukraine.

During that operation Ukrainian forces also shot down a russian Su-34SM using MANPADS.

2. russian forces using IFVs tried to take the village Liubimovka, Kursk region, in russia and for a moment entered it from west / northwest.

The usage of BMDs suggest that this were russian VDV units of the 51st airborne regiment, so one of the “elite” russian units. Yet, partially, they used the main road coming from Snagost, where one BMD gets torn apart by a mine (beginning of the video).

It ends with heavy russian casualties comprised of at least five BMDs being destroyed and unknown number of troops eliminated. The embattled russian village itself takes a heavy beating.

3. In Kursk the russians set up a command post inside a school so it gets destroyed by a GBU-39 250-lb guided Small Diameter Bomb.

There are other vids like this. They point to the head and get shot immeadetly without hesitation.

I have to say it looks like from a old war movie right from WW2. The same total neglect of own soldier's lifes. Blocking units shooting everyone running back. Officers shooting wounded soldiers who would slow down the unit. Even soldiers rather wanting to die than to see russian hospitals from inside.

Even if Russia manages to completly win this war, it will emerge in a weakened state. Losses are insanely high. The war dead, the wounded and expecially all the millions who run off to neighboring countries to evade service. Russias birth rates were extremly low for decades. And now this.

Without the Geneva Convention guidelines and both sides killing injured soldiers, he would have been mercilessly droned anyway.
