My cousin was out there and one evening a car pulled up next to his Land Rover and opened fire with a small machine gun, my cousin took 8 bullets in his arm and face, he played dead then drove myself to a hospital and as he walked in the hospital he was told to wait, half hour later he was asked what had happened and he said I think I have a few bullets in me, with that he was rushed down to the operating theatre . Up your's IRA , you cant kill a Bonnett.  |

On Northern Ireland? None. Like most Irish people in the South I have zero interest. At the same time the IRA are an obviously well-known dangerous group and my point of view is if you walk into an IRA funeral as a British soldier you know what to expect given that you are to them an occupying force. We have our own state down here distinct from the aims of the Provisional IRA.
