Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V

But the Wagner operatives left more than boobytraps. They also spray-painted swastikas and SS lightning bolts as graffiti wherever they went.

Nazi symbols are popular among the mercenaries; in Ukraine in April, a leader of Task Force Rusich, a Wagner subsidiary, was videotaped wearing the Valknot and Tatenkoph of the 3rd SS Panzer Division.

Wagner itself is named after the notoriously antisemitic German composer, whose operas famously made Hitler weep.

According to the group’s origin story, a former Spetsnaz (Soviet special forces) soldier named Dmitry Utkin used “Wagner” as his callsign while fighting in the Donbass region in eastern Ukraine in 2014. Utkin, who many consider Wagner’s operational commander, has tattoos of Nazi “SS” epaulets along his collar bones.

Many founding members of Wagner also belong to the ultra-nationalist and white supremacist group known as the Russian Imperial Movement, which the U.S. State Department has declared a terrorist organization.
That's a current event as any country had, and some still have, neo nazi organizations but the whole, Ukraine is a neo nazi state etc. and they have to be destroyed is b.s. Many changes occured during this war when it comes to Azov etc. while russia is still having Wagner under their wings letting them kill thousands of civilians, all over the world.

It's all a land grab. Ukraine never plans to invade russia, nor any other country will but they only want to take back what's been stolen from them and not want to return to some Soviet puppet state.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V

Meanwhile you have Russians who slaughtered hundreds if not thousands in Mariupol naming those streets after autocrats, murderous dictators like Lenin and Stalin. Those two committed genocide on a grand scale killing millions and millions of people and Russia still glorifies them. GTFO.
Yes, that is horrible, but it could have been easily prevented. All Russia was asking for was for Ukraine to remain a neutral state, not even having to be allied with Russia. Just a neutral state. But even that the Ukrainians could not do. They stopped honoring signed agreements and instead went full blast on trying to join NATO no matter the cost.

They did not even attempt to hold talks with Russia to at the very least come to some kind of compromise. Russia had no choice at this point.

Ukrainians hate Russians to the point where they preached exterminating them. This is no secret. Russia could not afford to have a state on its border with these types of views. Ukraine is not innocent, THEY could have prevented this.

Also, Russia could have invaded the entire country back in 2014, but they didn’t. They waited 8 years until all other options were exhausted.

Ukraine is a covering state. If it wants to join NATO, then it's their choice.

"All Russia was asking for was for Ukraine to remain a neutral state"
Nope,
Russia wasn't interested in a neutral state. "Neutral" for Kremlin means "under the influence of Kremlin", where Moscow would always have a say in the internal politics of Ukraine.

Yes, that is horrible, but it could have been easily prevented.
Yes, all Russia had to do was nothing. The easiest thing in the world...just do nothing. And they fucked up even that.
Just a quick reminder, this war had nothing to do with NATO or "a threat from the West". The West presented zero threat to Russia back then...and even now.
To have any chance of invading Russia, you would need a moment of surprise and a 2-3 million soldiers backed up with everything that NATO has. This invasion could then last for decades. Was there any sign of gathering such forces near the Russian border? Was there any sign of gathering any forces in Europe?
No.
The total number of troops taking part in one of the largest joint military exercises in Europe was around 20-50 000 troops. Just symbolic numbers to show that nato works together.
Now, we are also completely ignoring some major factors in attacking Russia.
1) The west is a democracy and war is incredibly unpopular. Getting All the NATO countries to agree and invade Russia for no reason would be the end of any politician that proposed such an idea. The west has become very content and comfortable. Noone wants to go to war...for any reason. From politcial/demographic point of view, invasion of the Russia is a non starter. There was never more than 0% chance for that to happen.
2) Russia is a nuclear state, which would use nukes if it were attacked by millions of NATO soldiers. This rules out any threat from NATO as well.
3) And yes, NATO is a defensive alliance, even though our Serbian friends here disagree with NATO decision to accelerate the end of the Yugoslavian war and prevent the genocide.
4) The West was(still is) already receiving all the resources Russia has for a reasonable price. So, the idea that the West wants to conquer Russia to get its resources is also crazy.

War is the least effective way of getting what you want.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V

Wanted to say this for a while, lets take a look at some factors as to why Ukraine has no chance of defeating Russia at this point in my opinion:

1. Russias military industrial complex is now running 24/7 producing munitions, guns and tanks while Ukraine has no military industrial complex.

Ukraine relies strictly on charitable handouts. No army can survive long off of charity no matter the size of the contributions.

2. Russia has implemented a brilliant military strategy even though it may not look like that to the naked eye.

Russia knows they cannot take Ukraine at this time so instead they built impenetrable defenses over the past year rendering Ukrainian forces virtually powerless to make any further significant gains like they did back in September. Ukraine should have gone all the way when they had the chance. That window has now closed.

And because of all the money and equipment donated to Ukraine, they must continue to make moves, there is simply too much pressure on them to keep this war at a stalemate.

Because of this, Russia is simply going to bleed Ukrainian forces dry by consistently defending occupied territories from Ukrainian counter attacks, while inflicting catastrophic losses on UA forces.

Once Ukraine is depleted of men of fighting age, Russia will simply move right in and take Kyiv without a fight.

This of course will not happen this year or next year. Russia will maintain this strategy for the next 4-5 years. They are experts at dragging out long term conflicts.

3. Ukraine has already lost a significant amount of men not far off from what Russia has already lost in the war. Won’t be long until they start recruiting 16 year olds to the fight.

Russia meanwhile has a population three times the size of Ukraine and is for the most part fully behind the war and willing to lose millions of men all in the name of victory.

Only chance now that Ukraine has of successfully pushing Russia out of its territory is if NATO enters the conflict, in which case it will be World War 3 and we will all be dead anyway, so we know that’s not going to happen.

If I am wrong then I will own up to it, but I doubt that I am, and I think what I pointed out here is already playing out, sooner than I thought it would.
I see we have a new pro ruskie lovin commie driven mentality expert here.

I thought that it was your masters plan to take over in 3 days & your saying now some 490 days later that it's a master plan, even if we cant see it as per your, 2. Russia has implemented a brilliant military strategy even though it may not look like that to the naked eye.

Your maters plan really is working ha, genocidal tactics, blowing up schools & hospitals, residential area's, stealing children & the like, n you want to celebrate that with your wordplay. LOL, you are your namesake, VILE !

Get a life !

Whatever it is you're smokin', pass it this way, please.

I'd like to borrow your crystal ball too.

Same old argument that we have been over & over & over again 2, maybe this orc lover should go back to the start & catch up on what's been debated over & come up with something new as he's just an echo at the moment & a sick one at that.
