Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
Can we discuss what a peaceful outcome would look like? War ends. Russia still has Crimea and everything east of the river and everything north east it’s captured. Mean while a new border is joined up. Ukraine becomes part of NATO and allied missiles are placed along the border. Russia keeps its missiles in Belarus That’s not going to work is it So second. Ukraine gets its land back including Crimea. Joins NATO. But this time. No missiles on Ukraine land and Russian warheads are not put into Belarus. That’s not going to be suitable either. So does anyone have an idea of what is going to be acceptable? I can’t think of a solution here that either side is ever going to accept. The video of the Russians blindly choosing to follow Pop Tin proves that. Unless of course some just say they’ll follow because they are scared. But the majority seemed ok to me. Would this result in a peaceful outcome. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
A third possibility, and the one I think that the western leaders are hoping for and discussing in their back channels: The Russian people get so fed up with the costs of this pointless war that they strip Putin of his power and/or reset him to room-temperature. A succeeding leader, realizing the untenable costs of trying to rebuild the USSR, decides to take a different tack, ceases hostilities with Ukraine and returns control of eastern Ukraine and Crimea. With the thinly veiled pretense of Russia regaining its slave states no longer necessary, under new leadership, Russia can quit clutching its pearls over the existence of NATO, a defensive alliance, and stop pretending like it is a threat to its sovereignty. Perhaps in a couple decades, a Russia that is no longer burdened by the aspirations of its corrupt dictators to rebuild its failed geopolitical slave-plantation could become a member of NATO, the defensive alliance. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
There are enough threads already. Relative media to the war, whether it be actual combat footage or civilians getting bombed, is what goes in the main media thread until the moderator (Kellyhound) that oversees this section says otherwise. I'm not posting shit to cater to YOUR personal preferences are whether it be more drone drops on Russians and less suicide drone videos. I'm posting any and all things I find that are relative to the war whether you like it or not. I think we've had this discussion before but I guess it bears repeating... if you want to see more or less of something, stop complaining and start posting shit yourself.

All of the cope and delusional takes from the pro ukraine people are always good for a laugh in here. Ukraine is done without a world war.
