Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
False. Quite the opposite, and Zelensky was telling his people Russia wouldn't attack so that they wouldn't panic, while preparing his military precisely for a defensive war against Russia which everyone notable knew was a possibility. Now why would Ukraine want to be a member of EU/NATO? Gosh why would that be. It's almost as if they know they have a violent dictatorship right next to them who's still waist deep in Sovietism. Wow that's a real head scratcher there huh? Plus if Russia invaded and conquered Ukraine on the pretext to prevent them from joining NATO, they just inherited a bunch of additional border right next to NATO countries with NATO bases which they didn't have before. I guess you gotta invade them too, right? Stupid argument. Ukraine is just defending themselves. Also, your quote is something an ill informed coward would say. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
My favorite part of this link you provide is there's a few things that are completely contrary to what you're saying here. Are you Faust 2.0 who doesn't even read the things he links to? Also you refer to the US intelligence leak as a "trove of documents". Isn't it funny how your type often dismiss the effectiveness of US/Euro intelligence but when something like this happens suddenly it's a "trove" of "truth"? I'm a former army officer who planned maneuver operations at the battalion level my last few years and I can tell you the documents that were leaked were merely information that could assist in planning for friendly forces, METT-TC and force sustainment. The vast majority of those things the Russians would have already known and the Ukrainians are wisely keeping the very important plans close to their chest. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
Is it delusional to want to kill the people that did this to your home town? In a war that Ukraine did absolutely nothing to deserve? Spare us your "corruption" and "NATO expansion" horse shit. These are very recent aerial photographs of the Ukrainian town of Mariinka after a year of fighting. This is how Russia expands. It is YOU that is delusional. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
Russia could have avoided their war by not invading their neighbor. The fight is between representative states (democratistic) and control freak (dictatorial) ones. And I see the one that wants to be the controllers of others as the bad guys. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread V
We should ban users for name calling and using the R word! This "team" mentality is messed up in this thread. The admins even have a bias and control what everyone can say. Ukraine protests for LGBTQ rights, pronouns, and with western influence I figured Ukraine supporters would understand how hurtful their words can be? I've seen jubodrag get name called, cursed and just beat up by admins in this group. But then jubodrag says B@ink ...and he is warned he will be banned. Practice what you preach, I love all of you. I don't care who you support. |
