Oh, yes how can we forget Baghdad Bob. Everytime I hear Putin saying something like "Military operation is going to plan" I think of Baghdad Bob. It's hilarious. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
Zelensky is not even jewish, the western media made that up so that you could use your silly argument "could a country really have nazis is they have a jewish president??" Which is really weak anyway, but here you go: https://www.timesofisrael.com/is-ukr...-wont-comment/ If he were jewish he would have said so, also he would have had a bar mitswa instead of a baptisement for his son. The us will bomb entire cities before they let their army go in. Like with bagdad for example. Of course they will have less casualties. I agree that russia has some old stuff and also the army is not all marines for sure But your media won't even tell you that Ukraine was asking for nukes for about a year now, and they didn't want to sign any security agreements regarding Nato membership or recognising the independent regions as such. Even the EU recognised the UK independence referendum :P As for the nazis, they are really there, they even celebrate nazi collaborators who took part and helped in the destruction of jews and the holocaust as national holidays. It doesn't really get any more racist than that. Imagine the US having a KKK battalion as their highest ranking in the military, and celebrating slave owners and civil war southern commanders as national holidays. Would you still be saying "it is only a few thousand units!"? |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread (Part Zero): 24 Feb - 31 Mar 2022
There is certainly propaganda on both sides, the "Ghost of Kiev" is certainly a myth, but only the most deluded, brain washed imbecile could deny the bombing on the Theatre. To be clear, the Ukrainians have not said 1300 were killed. They said an unknown number of up to 1000 - 1200 civilians were sheltering in the basement at the time of the strike. Casualties remain unknown but 130 civilians have been rescued so far. It will take days for the actual casualty figure to be known. However, that does not detract from the fact that the Russians are so incapable and piss weak they target soft civilian targets. So what? Countries have a right to defend themselves against an illegal invasion. None of that would have happened if Russia hadn't attacked Ukraine. They are doing extraordinarily well considering the disparity in equipment and numbers. Militarily they are winning as they have denied the Russians their stated objectives and are inflicting unsustainable losses on the Russians. Of course, they are appealing for whatever assistance they can get to help even things up. That said, however, incompetent the Russian Military is, in a war of attrition they will eventually prevail through sheer numbers. However, like the Americans found in Iraq and Afghanistan, it will be impossible to hold what they have seized against the inevitable insurgency that will follow. The most likely outcome is a negotiated peace with Russia retaining the Donbas and Crimea as part of Russia and Ukraine agreeing not to join NATO. This has a few more weeks to go until both parties will compromise. No, they are just militarily incompetent. The effectiveness of their military was overestimated before the war based on their strength on paper. Their equipment has also been largely overrated, particularly their tanks. Cap this off with a largely conscript army that is only half trained as since 2007 they only do 12 months of national service. It takes 18 months to produce a competent and skilled infantry soldier, let alone any other specialty such as armour, artillery etc. I recently read that the conscript's training cycle is so short, most of them have never even undertaken a live fire exercise before they finish their 12 month enlistment. The Russian reserve numbers are a joke too, as they count the half trained conscripts in their numbers, even if they finished their conscription a decade before. There is no annual training once they finish their 12 months so these are largely paper figures. You are clearly not playing with a full deck but I'll use logic and facts to address your nonsense. Nazis? This is a term flung around with little understanding of what it means by idiots such as yourself. In the context of Ukraine it generally refers to ultra nationalists and those on the far right of politics. Critics point to the Azov battalion as proof of "Nazis" in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Zelenskyy is certainly no Nazi or Ultra Nationalist and leads a moderate government. Putin by contrast is an Ultranationalist in the true sense of the word. According to Wikipedia. "Ultranationalism or extreme nationalism is an extreme form of nationalism in which a country asserts or maintains detrimental hegemony, supremacy, or control over other countries (usually through coercion) to pursue its interests. Ultranationalism is an aspect of fascism." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultranationalism This is exactly what Russia has sought to do now and in 2014. One of the most influential Russian figures to have urged Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is Aleksandr Dugin, a leading member of Putin’s United Russia Party and author of Foundations of Geopolitics, which has become an official text book of the Russian military’s General Staff Academy, on Putin’s insistence. Schmitt has deeply influenced Dugin, who has written a much-cited essay on Carl Schmitt’s Five Lessons for Russia. Schmitt believed that the world’s future lay in the hands of “large geopolitical entities, each of which should be governed by a flexible super state” – justifying their seizing more lebensraum, living space needed for a state’s “natural development”. Like Russia needing Ukraine. Who was Carl Schmitt you ask? He was a German political philosopher who was the “Crown Jurist” of Adolf Hitler’s National Socialist Party, which he joined and helped guide. So let me summarise. You have a democratically elected moderate Government which is led by a Jew whose relatives were killed in the Holocaust, and have shown no aggression to Russia, that you label as Nazis. Compare that to an authoritarian ultranationalist (Putin) who ordered an illegal invasion of another country, who is heavily influenced by a Russian Fascist (Dugin - who is also a member of Putin's party) to the extent he makes Dugin's books required reading by his Military Leaders. Dugin the fascist, in turn, is heavily influenced by a leading Nazi philosopher (Schmitt). It appears that your man Putin is more deserving of the Nazi tag. |

So either you are a retard, simply misinformed and passing on bad info without doing any prior research, or the Jews are covering for him (https://jewishquarterly.com/articles...dymyr-zelensky) and The Big Bad Media has been making this up since before the war because they knew there would be a war two whole years after publishing the articles: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/24/w...president.html https://www.haaretz.com/world-news/e...ssue-1.7142407 https://www.ajc.org/news/ukraine-ele...e-antisemitism https://www.jta.org/2019/04/21/globa...re-both-jewish https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/04/24...ection-jewish/ https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/n...ewish-comedian https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-e...423-story.html https://www.sun-sentinel.com/florida...501-story.html |
