Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

The Russians are trying to use the situation in the Kursk region for new information attacks against Ukraine.

The enemy is focused on creating the following threats:

Fakes about alleged killings of civilians by the Ukrainian military, intimidation of people, looting. For their dissemination, fabricated "words of local eyewitnesses" and interrogations of "Ukrainian prisoners of war" are used. The enemy has no confirmation.

Operations "under a strange flag": the creation of scenes of alleged war crimes in Suja and other places in the Kursk region. Russia's special services are planning provocations against civilians by their own agents disguised in the uniform of the Armed Forces.

Nuclear blackmail due to the proximity of the Kursk NPP to the war zone. Possible provocations on the territory of the NPP to blame Ukraine.

Fakes about the participation of military personnel of NATO countries in hostilities on the territory of the Kursk region. This is done in order to further intimidate the Russians with the "threat from the West" and spread relevant disinformation in the countries of the Global South.

russian state television showing videos of russians getting killed in a trench telling they are Ukrainians but it's Ukrainian footage showing russianssoldiers getting killed. I remember the real vid from a week ago.

I've wondered for a long time if/when Kremlin apparatchiks would try and use this footage as if it was portraying their own. Wild.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

From the Office of Dmitry Medvedev:

Causes and goals of terrorism

The operations of the Ukrainian Nazis in the Kursk region have already been reflected in detail and objectively in the analytics. This is both a desire to profitably show off the remnants of their dwindling forces to their masters in order to obtain a new portion of money and weapons, and an attempt to thin out our combat formations on the main line of confrontation, drawing off some of the forces to Kursk and Belgorod, and a temporary informational transformation of betrayal into victory.
It is necessary to learn a serious lesson from what happened and fulfill what Chief of the General Staff V. Gerasimov promised the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to mercilessly defeat and destroy the enemy.

There is another important political and legal consequence of what happened. From now on, the SVO must acquire an openly extraterritorial character. This is no longer just an operation to return our official territories and punish the Nazis. We can and must go to the lands of the still existing Ukraine. To Odessa, to Kharkov, to Dnepropetrovsk, to Nikolaev. To Kiev and further. There should be no restrictions in the sense of some borders of the Ukrainian Reich recognized by someone. And now we can and must talk about this openly, without embarrassment and diplomatic curtseys. The terrorist operation of the Banderites must remove any taboos from this topic. Let everyone, including the English bastards, realize this: we will stop only when we consider it acceptable and beneficial for ourselves.

Blessed memory to the dead: military and civilian, all who came under heavy fire from the neo-Nazis. The best memory of them is a carefully thought-out retribution. Recovery to all the wounded.

Always funny when the actual Nazi accuses everybody else of being so. Yet another page lifted directly from Nazi Germany playbook.
One has to wonder if this clown is even aware of what happened to Julius Streicher, and why he earned that necklace.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

Gotta love how the Russians are whining that the Ukies have attacked them.

Funny how they forgot that they started the war in the first place and now they get a taste if the boot in the bollocks they go crying to the UN. Unbelievable hypocrisy if I ever saw it.

Putin must be spitting feathers right now. I bet we are about to see a few generals fall out of windows. Accidentally of course.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

thats right willy ya tell those idiots that think we here have a fair and balanced view! we know the truth and we dont let anyone tell us what we dont think we already dont know.

Yes, it's truly AMAZING how fast the Russians are advancing.

To their own graves.

All they have to do to stop the killing is go home. It's THAT simple.

And if you are neutral, you are an idiot, as well. Perhaps you could sign up with the Russians. I hear they have a LOT of job openings right now.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

An Akhmat battalion commander posted a fake video showing Ukrainians getting destroyed but was quickly debunked because of bad vid editing

Some social media accounts are spreading the "news" that Nato troops are fighting in Kursk being dressed up as Ukr. soldiers.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IX

What if.. The Russians are evacuating the area so that they can detonate a nuke to kill all invaders. And to send a message "we are not fucking around" But because they Detonate a nuke on their own land to kill the Ukrani troops, They could do that and not incur much wrath from the west. might be a low price to pay if it means they forced a surrender or an agreement.

Ultimately it would'nt do them much good as it still does'nt prove that they would use such a weapon on Kyiv.

a bit far fetched but It came to me a while ago. Its a statement is'nt it. We want this at any cost, while you still have the whole country eating your bullshit out of your hands. They Ru public would likely support it.

How long can Russia keep paying for the increasing number of contracts to keep these recruits coming in daily? and to the families of the ones that don't come home. The educated russian more aware of the outside world does'nt want to fight, its the poor from the east that cant resist the large paypackets compared to their local pay. Or they truly believe in what they are fighting for .

In a couple of the interviews I saw it was ppl evacuating from the border saying "where was our fantastic army". He was Russian not Ukraini. Did these guys just move in? Or are They just pro russian? How many Ukkranians moved out of that area prior?.

And what am i missing? Russians have computers and the internet. They can see what we see. Yet the Russian public still support the war. Why is that?.
