I thought this site was called "Documenting Reality", not "Pushing Western Propaganda". One would believe based on this site that Ukraine is winning and defeating Russia, but at the same time, it appears that the Ukraine army is breaking down and Russia is advancing at a rapid pace and are every day achieving significant break-throughs. Every post is labelling "Russia" as the "enemy", which real journalists NEVER do. I would prefer the raw unfiltered truth, not regurgitated media which is almost entirely one-sided.

There is propaganda on all sides but I understand completely. Keep in mind that many contributors source their information from sources directly from people on the ground or in country via Telegram. If it's material favorable to Ukraine, many times it's a Ukrainian source. The same for Russia. But it's all biased nonetheless.

A. this is not a news site. B. contributors are not journalists, they volunteer their time with no pay, so they post what they want.

We're lucky to have the contributions we do.

I agree that it's important to document both sides of the war - and sometimes we have the people and resources to do that. Sometimes we don't.

Having said that, if you'd like to volunteer to spend your free time sifting through sources, acquiring information and media to post representing the Russian side, let me know. I would be happy to provide you several Russian sources on Telegram in which to do so.

I hope to get back to posting soon and despite my own bias, I will post Russian sourced material as well. Until then, or unless you or someone else is willing to do it, it is what it is.
