Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
Thanks for the footage Looks like the last speaker is somewhat of a comedian herself. But damn at them handing out free smartphones to the people on the day of the invasion. We all know this was part of Zelensky’s plan to “keep the economy going”. Anyway once they finally come for Kiev, I hope this time the people get to evacuate in time |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
You truly believe that Russia will be allowed to overrun almost half of Ukraine and take Kiev. Ukrainians would rather see is reduced to rubble then have them there. That’s not if the Russians don’t destroy it taking it. What I am interested in seeing is the rebuilding in Mariapol. Is it true that they have already started rebuilding it? If that’s so are they rebuilding it for the people or for Russians with money who can afford the new homes. Surely they wouldn’t be rebuilding it already. Would they? Endure my ignorance but again. How can they possibly think that the place will be safe from a country that will now fight to take it back. Or is this where Putin gets his excuse to get tactical in Ukraine because of a perceived attack on Russian sovereignty. On the news just now saying “Russia treats its soldiers like cannon fodder, for each lost Ukrainian we estimate we cause 8-10x the casualties because Putin doesn’t care about his soldiers and uses them for cannon fodder”. You would say propaganda. But we have already seen videos here showing groups of Russian soldiers saying what shitty conditions they are stuck in with shit to no equipment. I suppose it just get hard to keep replacing such basics as decent uniform and weapons when you truly are losing that many men. I still don’t understand why young fit Russian mean would go to their deaths so willingly. I can only assume one of a few things. Either the Russian tv is great at hiding the truth The soldiers are truly backwards in some way and do not register the hell they are going into Or they truly believe that what they are doing they do for mother Russia (always thought that was a ww2 thing) not that kids were still being brainwashed as they grew up to believe that shit I don’t know who I feel sorry for more. As both sides equally are losing so much. And for what. At the moment a few feet of ground here or there. |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
They don't. Conscription is not voluntary, its mandatory. Its either go fight in Ukraine right now, or spend the next 10 years in prison. A lot of videos have surfaced of russian mobilized (and Wagner convicts) complaining that they were lied to, they were told they would only be doing basic guard duties on the border of Ukraine, instead they got pushed straight to the frontlines with minimal training.

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
So you picked up on my inuendo, good for you ! Any of your pro ruskie bullshit to go with that Mrs Putin or is that it ! From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Numerous war crimes were committed by Serbian military and Serbian paramilitary forces during the Yugoslav Wars. The crimes included massacres, ethnic cleansing, systematic rape, crimes against humanity and genocide. The International Court of Justice, cleared the Republic of Serbia of direct involvement in genocide, but found that it had failed to prevent mass killings, rapes, and ethnic cleansing. No wonder you support Putin ! Те ебам ! |

Re: Russian/Ukraine War Discussion Thread IV
I'm sure it's happened... but I have yet to see a Ukrainian source post a Russian piece of footage and claim it as their own. I've seen Russian sources do this several times. That, alone, is enough to be extra wary of anything that comes from RU sources.
