Hahaha :D yes, here is that old number from the Turkish blog again...157 000. that number was completely made up and has 0 references or sources anywhere. The reality is that both sides are taking more or less equal casualties now. Russia took more casualties in the begining, since they were the attacking side...then ukraine started its attack...and now the meat grinder is gridning both equally. So, if you want 100 000 casualties for ukraine...you are gona have 100 000 casualties for Russia too. The only difference is that Russia has much more dumb meat to throw into the grinder compared to UA. |

I recently saw a video, where Russians were asked questions about NATO, and one of the Russians said that "United States wanted to add Crimea as one of its State" <- WTF? Has any russian speaker here seen local propaganda saying that US wants to add crimea as its +1 state? Is it part of the state propaganda or just some russian "Tucker Carlson" saying it ?

I just saw video of bus full of ukraine woman soldiers singing together as they go to war, many of them will die. Sad thing to see.

Nothing is more demoralizing to the enemy than being forced to kill pretty girls. Male psychology will be ok with killing other men who invade their territory...but killing women is quite unnatural for men. It usually takes religion and some absurd beliefs to get men to kill women. |

Thats not how that works, Ukraine is not attacking currently at all, its holding ground until the western tanks and extra toys arrive. If Ukraine losses would be similar to Russia's in a defensive position, they would've been conquered already. Standard military doctrine is attackers need at least 3 times the numbers of defenders, because defenders always have the inherent advantage. Wagner and regular russian mobilized keep complaining about lacking basic medical equipment, which makes the numbers of 150,000 defeated and 50,000-60,000 KIA russian soldiers very feasible. You have to remember that the amount of wounded is always much larger than outright killed. And wounded and missing (deserters) get counted among "lost infantry", because they're not capable of fighting anymore. Actual numbers are of course harder to estimate because Russia does not keep statistics of them at all and both sides of war overestimate number of dead enemies for propaganda reasons. Russia sending human waves to die in a meat grinder is much more believable based on the battleground footage and the fact that despite having superior numbers, they've been losing ground in Ukraine and struggling to conquer a single city. Finally Russia is not going to bleed Ukraine dry anytime soon. "Bleeding enemy dry" tactic has not worked since WW1, it didn't work in Afghanistan either for Soviet Union or USA, and it won't work in Ukraine. Wars are decided entirely by industry output and resources, and Ukraine gets resources from two of the three leading global marketplaces in the world. |
